Gaiananda was conceived in August of 2001. “Gaia” means “Earth” and “ananda” is Sanskrit for “bliss”, translating to “Earth’s bliss”. It is our way of saying “Peace on Earth” and we believe that can be attained through self discipline and the acceptance of global diversity. The genre we choose to spread this message is through our unique fusion of cultural music and dance.
